Terms of use

These terms apply to your use of avexpetroleum.com and the Avex Petroleum Ltd client portal. By using the site you accept them. Supply itself is governed by the quote you accept and any written supply agreement between us, which take precedence over these terms where they differ.

Product descriptions, specifications and standards on this site are a general guide. The specification that applies to a delivery is the one confirmed in your quote and its accompanying documentation, such as a certificate of quality or release certificate.

• A quote request is an enquiry. It does not commit either of us.
• A quote is an offer at the prices, quantities and delivery terms it states, valid until the date shown on it.
• An order is formed when you accept a valid quote, online or in writing, and we confirm it. Supply remains subject to availability, safe access to the delivery site, and the payment terms stated in the quote.
• Prices shown on the supply board or in the market strip are indications only and are not offers. Market prices in the strip come from a third party and may be delayed.

• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Anyone you invite to your company account can see its quotes and orders and, once the company is verified, accept quotes on its behalf. Remove people who should no longer have access.
• We may suspend accounts that are misused or whose company details we cannot verify. Tell us at info@avexpetroleum.com if you think your account has been accessed without permission.

Do not use the site to send false requests, attempt to access other companies’ data, interfere with its operation, or scrape it at scale. We limit repeated attempts automatically to protect the site.

The site’s text, design and the Avex name and mark belong to Avex Petroleum Ltd. Product and brand names such as AeroShell and Phillips 66 belong to their owners and are used only to identify the products we supply.

We work to keep the site accurate and available but do not guarantee it is error-free or uninterrupted. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site itself. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or our obligations under an accepted quote or supply agreement.

These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and its courts have jurisdiction over any dispute about them.
